Implementation Philosophy
We believe that successful organizations never replace thoughtful people
with computerized decision logic. Thus, we aim to partner with clients
to foster a technical evolution wherein organizations can build a system
of decision support tools that first stabilize the knowledge base, test
and prove the algorithms, and then suggest improvements to current operations.
We want our modelers to understand the real-world issues, business constraints,
and appropriate decision criteria. We strive to gain detailed knowledge
and respect for the complexity and sophistication of each decision problem.
Again and again, our models have proven to outperform even the smartest
and most experienced managers, simply because the nature of the
problems we address are so enormously complex, it is impossible
for any person to analytically or intuitively identify a near-optimal
solution on a regular, repeatable basis.
