From Gainesville Airport: From Jacksonville: From I-75 (Orlando,Tampa, or Atlanta):
  1. Exit Airport and turn right on NE 39th Avenue. Go 1-2 miles.
  2. At the intersection of 39th Avenue and Waldo Road, turn left on Waldo Road.
  3. Waldo Road intersects with East University Avenue; turn left on East University Avenue. The first traffic light will be at a fork in the road. Stay to the right and you will be on Hawthorne Road (SR-20).
  4. Follow Hawthorne Road through two lights. The GTEC building is on the right, just before the third light. It is the large tan and brick building.

  1. Take I-10 W to Lake City/Tallahassee. Go 18 miles.
  2. Merge onto US-301 S via Exit 343 to Baldwin/Starke. Bear right on the ramp and go 37 miles
  3. Continue on SR-24 W (Waldo Road) heading towards Gainesville. Go 13 miles.
  4. Waldo Road intersects with East University Avenue; turn left on East University Avenue. The first traffic light will be at a fork in the road. Stay to the right and you will be on Hawthorne Road (SR-20).
  5. Follow Hawthorne Road through two lights. The GTEC building is on the right just before the third light. It is the large tan and brick building.

  1. Take Exit 387 on I-75 toward Gainesville/University Avenue/Newberry Road. Head east.
  2. Newberry Road turns into University Avenue, heading toward the University of Florida.
  3. Continue on University Avenue past the University, Main Street and Waldo Road.
  4. At the first light after Waldo Road there is a fork in the road. Stay to the right and you will be on Hawthorne Road (SR-20).
  5. Follow Hawthorne Road through two lights. The GTEC building is on the right, just before the third light. It is the large tan and brick building.
